Thank you to the many dedicated volunteers, Public Works staff, organizations and residents for your part in making our community beautiful!
Communities in Bloom is about pride, environmental responsibility, community involvement, youth and enhancing green spaces. Boissevain has participated in the Communities in Bloom competition for over 20 years, winning at the national and international levels numerous times, gaining international recognition for being a beautiful community.
After winning the top category, Grand Champion, in 2019, the Boissevain Beautification Committee made the decision not to compete in Communities in Bloom in 2020. The community will continue beautification without the competition. There will still be a planting day in the spring, as well as Adopt-A-Spots for those interested. There are plenty of opportunities for people to be involved. The group is always searching for volunteers. If you interested in getting involved with the Beautification Committee, please email info@boissevain.ca
